"Amok Island worked alongside the Kariyarra peoples, the Traditional Owners of the Port Hedland area, local children, and collaborated with local indigenous artist Rupert Dickerson and traditional owner Larissa Brown, to deliver an artwork that respects and honors the rich indigenous culture and history of the area. All flora and fauna depicted in the murals are of significance to the local indigenous people"
